At The British Oak, food and drink are at the heart of what we do. Our kitchen serves all day, offering everything from comforting pub classics to seasonal specials, with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options to keep everyone happy. Little ones can tuck into their own kids’ menu, and for our four-legged friends, we’ve got dog-friendly tables too.
We’re especially proud of our True North pies – packed with rich, hearty fillings and wrapped in golden pastry – and our hand-stretched sourdough pizzas, fired up in the garden pizza oven on sunny days. Whether it’s a quick bite, a relaxed family meal, or sharing platters with friends, there’s always something to tempt you.
Behind the bar, you’ll find a great choice of cask ales, keg beers, bottled favourites, wines for every budget, and classic cocktails. And if you’re in the mood for something softer, our freshly brewed Darkwoods coffee is the perfect pick-me-up.
